Last night, Travis McCarthy, Neier's Environmental Services Manager, accepted the 2025 Fletcher York Community Service Award from the Danville Police Department on behalf of Neier, Inc.

DPD stated, "The Fletcher York Community Service Award was established in 2020 in honor of Fletcher York, whose legacy reflects a strong commitment to charity and community service within the Danville community. This award is presented annually to an individual or organization that has demonstrated meaningful collaboration with and support for the Danville Police Department in furtherance of our mission to promote a safe and welcoming community.
The 2025 Fletcher York Community Service Award is presented to Neier Incorporated. Founded in 1989 by Richard and Lisa Neier, the company began operations in Coatesville, Indiana. Although Neier Incorporated has since expanded and relocated its operations to Indianapolis, the Neier family and their organization have maintained strong and lasting ties to Hendricks County and the Town of Danville.
Neier Incorporated has consistently shown an unwavering commitment to community involvement. Their support includes sponsorship of numerous youth sports teams, participation in the Danville Police Department's National Night Out events and continued backing of the Shop with a Cop program. Additionally, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Neier Incorporated provided invaluable assistance to the Danville Fire and Police Departments by helping to locate and secure critical safety equipment during a time of significant need.
