Benefits

  • MINIMUM OF $0.62/MILE, ALL RUNNING MILES
Neier pays all company drivers based off of a sliding mileage bracket with a minimum earning of $0.62/mile. All of our lanes pay all running miles (address to address) with PC Miler Practical Routing. Neier has an experienced team of dispatchers that have been former drivers and they are here to help maximize your earning potential. They understand the challenges you may face each and every day. Our dispatchers understand that you are experienced professionals and will treat you as such; they are here for you when you need support but will also allow you to operate with autonomy.
  • STEADY WORK & PAID DEMURRAGE
Being in the business since 1989 has allowed Neier to establish a diversified group of customers that allows us to offer a steady workload to all drivers year round. Being part of the Hazardous Waste Transportation Industry, our drivers can expect to run lanes for a core group of customers and encounter minimal time at large warehouse facilities. The majority of our work is drop & hook or customer load/unload. That being said, we do encounter occasional customer delays and have established a demurrage program that pays drivers after 1 hour at pick-up and delivery.
  • PAID ORIENTATION & TRAINING
During the application process, you will speak with the Director of Human Resources as well as the Director of Transportation. Both individuals will be able to provide you with specific details about company operations; what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Our goal is for up-front honest communication with true and achievable expectations. After hired, drivers can expect to have access to each of these individuals to discuss any questions or concerns that might arise.
Once the official offer of hire has been extended and accepted, you will be scheduled for orientation here at the Neier terminal in Indianapolis, IN. Our orientation & training periods are unique in that we offer individual orientations and do not require our new hires to be part of a large hiring pool. This allows for individualized attention and a better assessment of each driver’s individual skills. We understand that you are experienced professional drivers. Our goal is to have you on the road, running solo, as safely and quickly as possible. Most of our experienced new hires can anticipate running solo within a week. During your training period you are not team driving. You will be dispatched on out and back day runs. During the orientation and training period, you will receive hourly pay and transition to the sliding mileage bracket once you are released to run solo.
  • SIGN-ON BONUS
Neier provides a sign-on bonus that is issued in one-lump-sum payout.
  • ASSIGNED KENWORTH TRACTORS & PAID BREAKDOWN
Neier provides every full-time driver with an assigned Kenworth tractor. Our maintenance program is designed to keep equipment in good working condition to allow each driver to complete their runs safely and on schedule. Neier has incentive programs in place to reward drivers for clean DOT Inspections and will pay drivers for any breakdown time due to equipment issues from the beginning of the reported breakdown. We also understand that appearance means a lot; we have nationwide accounts for Blue Beacon and Iowa 80 Truck washes as well as a full-time detailer here at the Neier terminal in Indianapolis, IN.
  • PAID HOLIDAYS
All full-time Neier employees are eligible to receive 6 paid holidays throughout the year. Neier also provides two pay incentives for working on qualified holidays.
  • PAID VACATION
All full-time Neier employees qualify for paid vacation after one year of employment with additional vacation days awarded for longevity.
  • QUARTERLY BONUSES
Neier understands that each and every one of our drivers are the basis for our business success. Our customers have grown to expect a high-level of professionalism from our drivers. Each quarter, we reward our drivers for a job well done. This program is calculated off of each driver’s individual quarterly earnings as well as their performance record. This program also takes into consideration a driver’s longevity with Neier.
  • 401(k) PROGRAM WITH COMPANY CONTRIBUTION
Because life-long financial security is a goal for each of us, Neier offers both Roth and Traditional 401(k) Programs with a company contribution to all full-time employees.
  • HEALTH INSURANCE OPTIONS
A variety of health insurance plans are available for each employee to find the best coverage option that fits their needs. Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance policies are also available. Benefits are limited only to full-time employees.

Requirements

  • 2 Years Verifiable Class A CDL Truck Driving Experience.
  • Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements.
  • Must be at least 23 years of age.
  • No experience with Tanker & Hazmat? No problem! We require that our full-time drivers hold both endorsements, but our training program is designed to ensure each individual’s safe operation of tanker, vans, and handling of hazmat materials.
